1. Saying “bird” is enough to graduate you from mute to talking status.
2. The phrase “It happened!” is synonymous with “A baby was born!”
3. You can’t fall in love until someone explains what “twitterpated” is. But once someone does, you have about five minutes before you run in to a female and are lost to love forever.
4. Deer, while born princes, never become kings—they only become “Great Princes.”
5. Lightning is a good enough excuse to leave your friend lost and helpless in the forest, despite the fact that you’re the one that led him away from his mother to begin with.
6. If you don’t know someone’s real name, saying the word “friend” and then a descriptive word will suffice, such as “friend owl.”
7. Everything manmade is evil and dangerous. Nature, however, is harmless. Even jumping off a waterfall will not harm you.
8. You know winter has arrived because one day there is no snow at all, while the next day the whole forest is covered with it.
9. If you get shot and are lying on the ground in pain, all you need to do to heal the wound is get up.
10. Rabbits are named by their actions and skunks are named by the object they hide in. Deer, on the other hand, have names that don’t mean anything at all and are given on a whim.
